What Flora's policyholders have to say:
Let's talk about the women who built Flora, and why they created the first personally owned fertility insurance from the ground up...

Christy has spent decades at the front of women’s health. She co-founded the Stanford Wearable Health Lab, built and sold her own insurtech company, and has spent her career figuring out how data and technology can make healthcare work better for women. She’s a professor, a scientist, and a global leader in health innovation.
She’s also a mom of three, and two of her children were born through IVF. For all her expertise, all the research and the labs and the years spent studying women’s bodies and health systems, she still ended up in the same chair so many women sit in. Facing the emotional and financial weight of fertility treatment without nearly enough support. That’s the reason she started Flora.

Laura didn’t go through fertility challenges herself, but she watched a close family member carry the emotional and financial toll. She saw the appointments, the heartbreak, the bills, and the isolation that so often comes with a fertility journey. And she thought, this isn’t good enough. Women deserve better.
Laura brings decades of experience in finance, insurance, and building companies for women. She also has three young adult daughters who give her a daily view into how their generation thinks about health, money, career, and dating, all of which tie back to fertility. She came to Flora from a different personal experience, and the same deep conviction.

Fertility can feel like a big conversation. It doesn’t have to be. Keep it light and make it about options, not pressure. Here are some conversation starters that you can send to her:
“I found a fertility insurance that locks in an affordable future option for you while you’re young. No pressure and no agenda, I just wanted you to have it in case you ever require fertility treatment down the road.”
"I came across this new fertility insurance and immediately thought of you. It doesn't mean you need to decide anything right now, but it gives you more options for the future - even if having kids isn't on your mind right now."
"You're always planning ahead with your finances. I came across this fertility insurance and it felt like another one of those future-you decisions that we should look at together."
"You buy insurance for your phone, your apartment, and your health. I thought it was interesting that fertility is finally becoming something you can plan for too."
“I care about your future and I want to make sure you keep your family building options open! This Flora fertility plan could help: [insert your link]”
